Soft cup Triangle bra sewing pattern.
Adorable! A soft cup bra designed for petite women with small bust shapes.
Making your own underwear is really easy and once you've mastered a few simple techniques really fast. To make yourself a TRIANGLE BRA you'll need just 25cm of lightweight woven fabric. The sewing pattern is available in Australian CUP SIZES 6-12A & 8-14B. (For international customers there is a size conversion chart listed on my website www.themakersjournal.blogspot.com)
You'll also need to purchase under-bust elastic, strap elastic, lingerie (knicker) elastic, matching sliders and rings plus a hook and eye closure for the back. I recommend the on-line store called www.bramakerssupply.com who have everything you'll need in one place.
Body Measurements
Size 6 - Bust 76cm, Waist 58cm, Hip 88cm
Size 8 - Bust 81cm, Waist 63cm, Hip 93cm
Size 10 - Bust 86cm, Waist 68cm, Hip 98cm
Size 12 - Bust 91cm, Waist 73cm, Hip 103cm
Size 14 - Bust 96cm, Waist 78cm, Hip 108cm
I made my photo sample from a Liberty print called Tatum. This pattern has been developed for lightweight woven fabrics like cotton, soft cotton blends or silk. Select a fabric that will feel soft and silky against your skin. The bra is shown with a SKIMPY made using a matching elastic waist, pattern also available.
I print my SEWING PATTERNS onto 100% recycled paper and then seal the contents to make sure they arrive safely.

Skills you need
The pattern is suitable for an average sewer. Skills required include zig-zag stitching, overlocking, twin needle stitching, hand sewing, gathering (b-cup only) and handling elastics. All the required steps for sewing the various elastic trims are covered in the HOW TO section of my blog.
